Online Class Details
Description: The online Minnesota Permit to Carry class with Conceal and Carry MN is for students who want to complete the educational portion on their own time and at their own pace. The comprehensive video will give you the knowledge you need to own and carry a firearm responsibly. After watching the video, you will need to schedule and attend a live fire qualification. You will be able to view the qualification schedule after watching the course video.
Duration: 1-hour video on your time plus an average of 15 minutes at the range
Course Access: Enrollment in the online course is valid for 90 days. Students must watch the course video and schedule their live fire qualification within this period. Those who do not complete both requirements will need to purchase additional access.
Experience Level: Beginner to seasoned permit holder
Minimum Age Requirement: 21 years old
Minnesota law allows individuals 18 years of age or older to apply for a Minnesota Permit to Carry. However, our company policy requires students taking this online course and live fire qualification to be at least 21 years old. Exceptions may be considered for active-duty military or qualifying service members. Please contact us in advance to confirm eligibility if you believe you qualify for an exception.
Location: Watch the course video at home and complete your live fire qualification at Joe’s Gun Shop (inside Joe’s Sporting Goods) in St. Paul.
